James Fox is a freelance creator, storyteller & artistic designer with 8 years experience. He works with brands and artists to communicate spatial projects, technologies, and concepts.
His work is cross-disciplinary and sits between the world of architecture, installation art, and 3D interaction design and has worked with world-renowned artists and brands.
James is self-represented and takes clients on a limited basis. He has a love for the outdoors, adventures and riding bikes.
Studying 3D design at The University of Brighton gave him a solid foundation and a hands on practical approach to design. Moving into work James worked for a series of companies in different sectors of the industry including: furniture, service and exhibition design. From this experience he was able to take aspects that he enjoyed from each place which shaped the future of his process.
After taking a few full time jobs James found that he couldn’t settle and was quickly moving between them. Recognising this he discovered that a freelance career is perfectly suited to this fluid career. From 2013 to the present day, James has been a freelance designer collaborating and working with a variety of studios and clients.
